I'm a happy Boy
Snip>>>>>>>>>
Just had to write and say that after a 11 week wait my new Compomotive
wheels
for the Ur-q are on the big brown truck coming from PA. They are the
"MO's"
in 16"X8" with an ET of 24MM. I have a set of 225/45/16 Perelli P-Zero
just
waiting to be mounted up. Sorry for the WOB but I just had to gloat to
some
people who might actually care :-).
Cheers,

Jim, have you test fit this size wheel and tire combo? The reason I ask
is that John Karasaki runs 225/45/16 on a 16x8 ET 35 or so and told me
that he thought that any less offset would cause major problems with the
rear fender lips. I just had my '83's rear fender lips rolled and it's a
very close fit with 225/50/15 tires on the stock 8" ronals with ET 24.
In fact I had to remove the upper valence mounting screw as per Audi to
stop them from rubbing on the fender lips. They are fine now, but my
rolling diameter is 0.6 inches less than your will be. I am hopefully
wrong, but I hope you checked.
