'89 200q weight results
Haudi,
The unit: early '89 (MC1, etc), all stock, 30-lb trailer hitch, 6x15 BBS
with 215-60-15 Comp TA HR4/2, 8 gallons gas, 15-lb first-aid kit in trunk
(forgot to take out).
Weights taken with a 4-wheel race-car scale. I was given lotsa guff about
bringing such a "porky" car out; many rigs were 1800-2000 lbs--WITH DRIVER.
Empty (lbs)
LF 993 RF 963
LR 703 RR 728
With driver
LF 1093 RF 966
LR 789 RR 757
Change
LF 100 RF 3
LR 86 RR 29
Notice how nearly all the weight (85%) is borne by the left (driver's)
side. Also note the discrepancy: the compooter was optimistic with my
weight (218 lbs measured vs ~250 lbs actual).
