battery theory (NIL Audi content)
Haudi,
A friend of mine with a big honkin' sailboat (did I say friend? I hate
his guts) wants to add a third lead acid battery to run his electronics
a little longer. His trouble is, there's too little room for a third
batt. of equal capacity; so he's decided that he'll just wire in one that
does fit into the locker. In other words, he'll have three batteries of
unequal capacities wired in parallel.
I bet this is a bad idea, but I can't convince him not to do it. Can
anyone point me to some battery theory? I'd hate to see him burn the boat
to the waterline (until after I get a ride, anyway).
Thanks, and apologies for the WOB.
