two quattros instead of one, how can any one person be so lucky...

Hi guys,

As of Wednesday evening, I am the:

a) lucky
b) unfortunate, will soon need a shoulder and towel
c) was warned but didn't listen,
c) moron

who owns a 1991 200 quattro. It has 127,000 miles on it,
an is Indigo Mica  ( very dark blue ).

Todd Candey helped with an inspection on ten minutes notice,
the car seemed worth buying, and he confirmed it, with a long
list of things that will need attention over the next few
months, but nothing that keeps me from ENJOYING it in the meantime.

Now I need to figure out where to get the shop manuals, how to get the
boost back to 1.7 or so from the present 1.3 bar, and what to do with
the 1986 5kQ which has been somewhat neglected lately.

( later, after the first phase of cleanup, I will start considering
"improvements")
