RE: strut mount replacement: mandatory?

It sounds like there are three strut mounts/bearings being
discussed: front 4kq stock, cheap ($12-$20); rear 4kq stock,
moderately expensive ($25-$50); and UrQ blue, quite
expensive ($50-$80).  Apparently, all of them work in either
the front or the rear.  It is rumored that the UrQ blue
mounts are on closeout for $20 at TPC.  I will probably get
these for the front, and have the rear ones inspected by
someone who is qualified and decide whether to replace them.

Does any of this sound like I am misdirected?
