Last September, during my first go-round with my ur-Q and attempting to
get it to pass emission, I was driving it back from Pep Boyz... I needed
to make a left, and had waited for the passing of a number of cars from
the left. There was a gap, with another car on the far side of the
adjacent intersection, and I gunned it- but I misjudged his speed, I
had him at a max of 30mph (the speed limit) but he was doing about 40.
He jusy barely misses me. Well, I'm sitting at this intersection (long
light, cursed van in front of my won't turn right on red even though
it's clear), and the guy who almost hit me has turned around in a
parking lot and come back out behind me.

Cursing, yelling, telling me he has a 9 month old baby in the car with
him who could have almost been killed. I point out his excessive speed,
and he starts saying something about foreign piece of sh*t and also
begins engaging in a bunch more name calling. Then he spits in my
face. As he walks back to his car, I get out just enought to get a 
good look at the model of car he's driving (hard to see out the back
of the ur-Q), and he comes back "yeah. get out of your car".

This was difficult to resist, because frankly, I have to work hard to
deal with some issues, and have more than a small bit of rage. But I've
seen this play out on C.O.P.S., everybody goes to jail. So I just sit 
there until the light changes and I put him way behind me.

Also, I believe in karma... these f**kers are racking up a huge karmic
debt. They'll pay, eventually...   -dq
