I have the faux sport package on my 97 turbo A4q...
16" wheels with the same crappy tires you got on your
97.
The big upgrade was to go to 17" wheels and 45 series
tires. The 16" contis to 225-45-17 tire upgrade made
such a difference, the only reason to mess with the
suspension right now is to lower it.
With a +0 tire upgrade, you can get a little wider
tire and drive until the suspension is worn and needs
replacing in a few 10k miles.
If you HAVE to have a new suspension then there are a
few vendors that have them. TAP, Neuspeed, VWSport,
AP&R, AMS...
Or you can search for a true factory sport suspension
from someone who had done an aftermarket swap.
