I'm about to try and remove the mirrors.  I don't think mine
will pass inspection.  Most people just glue on a new mirror
(and I might just do that), but I was thinking about using a
sharp putty knife to gradually pry them off, like you do
with a bridge on a guitar.  A little heat and some
patience.  I think someone posted about this in the past,
but I can't find it...was it you Fred Munro?  I don't think
the suction cup method would work.  If I'm too late, blame
it on the digest.
