Belt-a-thon

It's beginning to look like other wrenching commitments might keep me
away.  Thomas end-swapped the Passat yesterday and came back complaining
about the brakes - I have to say that he has a point.  The load
compensator probably needs R&R or replacement.

Also Roger's speedo has taken up the merry dance again.  It looks like
a dash strip is called for.

Time is very tight anyway over the next couple of weeks.  If I don't
get these done now, it could be three weeks.
