No, but it helps especially with technical queries to know what sort
of car is involved.  A far more insidious encroachment is above the
text - header propagation.

The minimum number of header lines I now see is eight - more if there's
anything odd about the post.  That's a third of the screen.

This is where the bandwidth is _really_ going - especially since the
list now seems to forward its inbound headers as well:
