? on Auto-X a Ur-q

As you may or may not have noticed I plan on Auto-xing my '84 Ur-q this 
Sunday.  While I have done a lot of Auto-Xing 6-7 years ago in my '85 MR-2. I 
have been out of it for quite a few years, and I have a couple of ?'s 
regarding setting up the Ur-q.

1.  I am curious as to what tires to use.  I am limited 15"X8" Ronals with 
quite worn 225/50/15 A509's or my brand new 16"X8" w/225/45/16.  My thought 
are the 509's because the tread blocks are so much shorter resulting in less 
tread "squirm".

2.  Where should I start with Tire Pressure.

3.  Any pointers as to driving style.  I was quite competitive in my MR-2 but 
the Ur-q is going to be a lot different  Any tips would be great.
