RE: v1 saves the day
I'll second that. Same thing happened to me on a trip from Seattle to
Portland. One car 50 to 70 feet in front of me, saw a cop in the median, I
slow down, laser alert goes off (as he hits the car in front), car in front
slows down, laser alert goes off again (as he hits me), cop pulls out with
lights-a-blazin' and proceeds to pull the car in front of me over.
I do however, have no doubt that if I had been in front and not seen the cop
before the laser alert went off, I would have been toast.
