I've never heard of turbo Audis converted to run on gas, but LPG (liquified
petroleum gas) is fairly popular here, with a low price. I've driven a
high-mileage 90 quattro converted to run on LPG once, ran fine.
Turbo cars generally will not be converted to run on LPG- it runs hotter
than petrol or diesel.
