I now have a file in which the entire inside of the fuse box. It's a
bit kludged since although I am working with an '84 diagram, I am
including the three or four extra pins on the 87.5 box.

Engine electrics are the least of the issues. The engine harness
usually just gets a few 12v sources from somewhere on the box, the rest
of it's data come directly from it's own harness in the engine bay.

It's all the other crap that gets weird. I still don;t understand why
individual "systems" don;t use single plugs - for instanc the headlight
switch is attached to about 5 different plugs! Also there are about 5
or 6 pairs of pins that are just jumpered inside the fuse box to each
other.

This job will be pretty easy once I've done all the analysis and
planning.

The only delay will be swapping in CIS-E first since it is easier to
hook up to the new fuse box if it's already in place.

I will prolly make the Visio file into a big .gif, in two versions
(plugs kept together, and terminals arranged for minumum pathg
crossing/maximum simplicity) on my web site, since that is pretty easy.

In the monster version the connectors will then say where they go to
with what color wire and the corresponding '82 circuit will be listed
next to it.
