Don't be afraid newbies - ask away.
With all this BW about wasting this and that, don't become
uneasy about posting. After all is said and done, we all
were newbies once. As far as I know, this is a free forum
for discussing the Audi marque (and oft times others as well
because there is a knowledge base here from experience
gleaned from years of DIY). Every once in awhile someone
wants to change the playing field, it usually amounts to
zip, and we're all back to square one. There are all kinds
of supposedly dumb questions asked, but answered in a
straight forward way by a lister with experience about that
particular Audi foible (and dLard knows there many). There
are curt replies, replies that make no sense whatsoever,
shoot from the hip replies, AND, replies that hit the nail
on the head.
Most help I get is sent privately, and most help I try to
give is done the same way. I have been working my way
through a 5kq replacing this and that, fixing this and that,
and if there is a question, whether considered dumb or not,
I'll try to help out. I'm not here to impress anyone.
If you want to contribute to a topic, go ahead. As in any
discussion, someone might say you are a total...whatever.
But hey, so what? Everyone learns from it. Sometimes I
wonder just how much is missed by someone deciding not to
get involved.
And quattro-digest members...we got the plain ol' humdrum
quattros beat hands down by shear numbers.
Oh, oh...gotta go...I think my keepers wanna eat me for
supper.
