Re: Question for ETKA users
Tom Hi from Greece,
Provided that Phil will not have a different opinion, since my ETKA
searching abilities (apart from RS2 related matters) are limited, the
following appears to apply regarding your question.
If your 90 has a VIN number over 89-H-300 001 then you have to find a
similar 90 or 80 model (with a VIN number over the above stated).
There are two part number for the circuit board.
893 919 059 B and 893 919 059 C. It appears that the main difference is that
the second is for on board compnuter with radio frequency facility but I am
not 100% sure about it.
If your VIN number is below 81-H-299 000 then the circuit board of any 1986
80 or 90 "will do very nicely, thank you very much"
Be extra careful on the following part number for the 1986, 80 or 90.
811 919 059 BA is the part number for the non on-board computer equipped
cars.
811 919 059 BB is the part number for the on-board computer equipped cars.
AS A GENERALIZED RECAP...
Check the VIN of your car. If it is a 1987 before the change and is equipped
with the on-board computer establish that the donor car was equipped too and
that it is a 1986, 80 or 90 or a 1987 with VIN number before 81-H-299 00.
If it is after the change then look for a similarly VINed car and check for
the radio frequency facility.
I hope all the above helps you.
Regards
Pantelis Giamarellos
