RE: ur-Q Mac02 ECU Schematic: New Availabilty

While I definitely and wholeheartedly appreciate the efforts of the folks
who produced and distributed the MAC-02 schematic, I wanted to make sure
everybody knows that they were an attempt at reverse engineering, and by no
means are they guaranteed to be accurate. I know that when I looked into
them a couple years back I was able to identify some minor errors fairly
quickly.

That said, the schematics are an excellent reference, and to someone who
understands electronic circuitry they do help provide insight into how the
system works the way it does. One thing that jumped out at me was a full
understanding why the system doesn't work when the distributor window is
misadjusted ...

I have actually managed to collect data sheets for some of the more obscure
components on the board ... most notably the micrprocessor. Unfortunately
the spec for the other LSI chip eludes me, but if anyone wants to have a
copy of what I have, please feel free to contact me.
