Oh, sure, if you bought a new car. But who does that?
I think of this as The Bad Thing because I still shake my head about the
time I did this back in about 1986. In that case, I added up all the
money I'd spent on a selection of weird old cars over the previous, oh,
four or five years, most of which I no longer owned.
It was enough to buy a new ur-Q in the U.S., back when there *were* new
ur-Qs in the U.S. And it was gone, gone, gone.
And *that* is the kind of hindsight that I think anyone on the list
would agree is cause for a nervous breakdown... :-)
