Re: Requesting Guidance from a Car Insurance agent

Funny that you should ask. Every Audi except one that I have owned (and
a few other marques) has been a salvage vehicle. After you have fixed
the car, had it inspected, and are issued a "rebuilt salvage" title (or
a regular title, depends on what state you are in), the car is just like
any other car on the road. The salvage title "branding" is merely for
the protection of the consumer that has no idea how to tell if a car has
been wrecked before. If you are comfortable with a rebuilt car (I
personally am), then it is no issue. Insurance companies do not care.
Banks and other loan institutions do not care. Bureaus of motor vehicles
do not care once it is inspected. HTH.
