Hi Ken,
What you need to get out of the donor car is the instrument cluster with
the trip computer in it, the ecu, and the switch/harness that controls the
computer. Installation is easy because the harness between the trip
computer and ecu is already there! Its just tucked back behind the inside
relay panel. You plug the computer switch and harness into the back of the
instrument cluster and into the 4 connector harness that runs back into the
ecu and you're done. You do need the ecu though, one of the signals that
runs the trip computer is the CIS enrichment signal, which was quite
different than on my stock 4kq ecu. Made the MPG readout very low.
