I wouldn't go to a junk yard for wearable items like wheel bearings and
CV joints. What you get there is probably just as bad as the ones you have.
Junk yards are great for stuff like trim pieces and other things that don't
wear down much over time. Try the usual Q-list favorites for parts,
like thepartsconnection.com, audiquattroparts.com, or Carlsen in
Palo Alto for dealer parts. You must talk to Linda or Didi and mention
that you're with the "internet quattro list" to get the Q-list discount,
and the discount is usually substantial.
