I hate to use the list for this purpose, but I am an my wits' end.

Mr. Andrews and his son both appear to be subscribers to this list.
His son, R. Justin Andrews, offered for sale to me a 5-speed trans-
mission from a 1984 Coupe GT. I sent him a certified check for $150,
his asking price, back in March. I have not received my transmission.
I have received promises of additional parts for no extra cost, and
not received anything.

Mr. Andrews Sr., to what element of your son's character can I
make an appeal that will get him to honor his obligations? He
posts with what appears to be a college e-mail address, as do
you, so I am assuming he may be in the midst of finals right now.
So I've been patient, and understanding, but I am at my wits end.

But I've also repeatedly asked him to provide to me a schedule
that he can and will keep to. Just tell me when I can and will
get my transmission. I've been very busy, and haven't had time
to follow up on this. Friday afternoon, I tried calling him at
work, and got someone else. This morning, I tried calling his
PCS phone, and it's been disconnected. I called what I think is
your phone number, and left a message. There was another number
I also called, which answered, but then hung up. I feel a bit
like I'm being avoided.

Once again, if there is a lister in the Arlington Texas area
who can help Rich get this shipped to me, it'd be worth some
extra cash. I'm paying insurance on a car I can't drive, and
my rates aren't cheap!
