sorry to be cruel but that is a bad example... "investments" in stereo
gear don;t add to the value of a car except maybe slightly.
Anyway, the word of warning I suppose must be repeated here in the
aftermath of your tragedy... to all.
Look up the "book" value on your car sometime. prepare for a shock if
the year starts 198*! (I think if my car is totalled right now I have
to give the insurance co. $300!)
If you think your car is worth more, really, call your agent and get set
up with an appraisal and some sort of declared or agreed upon value
policy ASAP!
otherwise your rates are based on the book value you looked up...
