RE: EVO magazine, May & June

Some people obviously have too much money for societies good.
Mighty fine looking URQ too bad the steering wheel's on the wrong side.

I have to ask; How did this car get 57,000 miles on it without ever damaging
any of these paper stickers? It rains on the British Isles does it not? At
least a little? This is a Quattro yes? It's never been out in the rain?
This poor baby has been deprived of it's purpose in life and should be
taken way from that bad man for it's own good. It needs a chance to discover
who it is!

Currently getting new rear brakes - what a PITA. The front brakes were 45
minutes work, this abortion on the rear has required new rotors, rebuilt
calipers, two new carrier brackets, boots, bolts and brake lines. Maybe
even a new parking brake cable. Don't tell anyone that I'm driving without
rear brakes... I certainly can't tell the difference. ;-)

AM Cars has an interesting attitude to pricing.

(See http://www.topazgloucester.co.uk/quattro.htm )

This car was advertised in The Sunday Times at GBP13500. The full story
is that the present owner is a dyed-in-the-wool BMW fanatic who wrote
