Subject: Q: re 4000Q fuel and idle starting point

I had your name from an earlier e-mail. I can't post to
list until Dan sets up the members who don't want email list.

I was doing too many things at once, and now my 86 4000Q won't start. I
don't have a Bentley any longer...

Can you help me with these questions:

I screwed up my fuel mixture adjustment with the torx driver. Is there a
base setting (i.e., turn counter clockwise to stop, then turn x rotations
clockwise)

Likewise is there a simular setting for the idle screw (i.e., turn
clockwise all the way in, now turn x rotations out)?

How about the timing? With the timing light, is the mark that I see on
the pulley supposed to be between the notch on the cover?
