That's interesting since I thought the brakes on my Ur-Q were pretty damned
good ... of course, I haven't driven it on the track yet and the additional
heat may encountered there may change things. For autocrossing, though, I
actually found the stock brakes -- rotors, calipers, pads -- worked just
fine, even with left-foot braking and the center diff locked.

You'll probably need to install a vacuum reservoir since turbo-motors don't
make much vacuum on boost. That said, why not skip the assist altogether and
use a pair of racing-type MCs with a balance bar? They're cheaper, easily
adjustable, and if you design your mounting bracket/pedal linkage correctly,
you can have a rising-rate pedal effort. I had one made for about $150 for
my 4k racecar (it also fits the Ur-Q; I checked!) but you can probably build
one yourself for half that or even less if you have access to a machine shop
and it might be possible to import/adapt the A4 setup that was listed in the
last Demon Tweeks catalog...
