Re: offroad action...no audi content so far (was Rental Cars, part XXVI)



Has anyone else driven up the back side of Mt. Lemmon (Tucson, AZ)?  It's
about 15 miles with a 4000 ft. elevation gain (give or take).  That was a
doozy...even in my Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 4x4 (quadratrac AWD...not that
select-trac part-time BS).  Just as you get into the really hairy stuff,
there's a big sign that says "NO PUSSIES".  Jeep needed an alignment after
all was said and done...amazingly, the dealer got it covered under warranty!
