Re: Eek...body kit

The front spoiler on the Treser Super 5000 has a slight molded recess to make
room for the Treser badge whereas the Erebuni kit does not. The Erebuni rear
spoiler has molded recesses for reflectors but no reflectors. Otherwise,
you're right: They look pretty much identical. As for the rear wing, a local
bodyshop that fixed some damage to my '91 100 a few years had a brand new one
sitting on the shelf and was trying to unload it ... Norm had bought it for a
job and as it turned out, he didn't need it after all. I've also seen a few
of them on wrecked cars at various local salvage yards ... as some folks
might recall, Scottsdale Porsche-Audi was one of only two Treser
importers/distributors in the U.S. and as a result, there are a surprising
number of these cars on the roads in and around Phoenix, AZ.

More likely, Erebuni either copied the Treser stuff or purchased the tooling
from it since they are long out of business ... I find it amusing that with
the possible exception of their tinted tailight lenses, I didn't like one
single product Treser offered for sale: not the bodykits, the wheels, the
steering wheels or even the suspension mods. No wonder they are out of
business.
