RE: No auto/Tip on TT -- why?
the a3/tt transaxle supports an auto box. there is an a3 auto version.
however, i am unsure whether there is an a3 auto quattro. can't see why
not, it's not nearly as difficult as the "normal" quattro to do, as all it
requires is the haldex on the rear axle, rather than anything on the
transaxle....

I hear that an auto version is coming, just not yet. It's probably
just a case of priorities and resource... most Euro TT buyers probably
want manual so that comes first.
