We used them at the shop that I worked at, have heard that they are not the
most accurate things but much more accurate than not using them with an
impact gun (which you should NEVER do) I always use my torque wrench on my
wheels.
Basically an impact gun works by delivering torque in a series of blows or
impacts hence the name and they are fairly short in duration. the torque
stick works by flexing at a certain torque determined by the diameter of the
shaft of the stick. once it starts to twist it absorbs the impact of the gun
canceling it out. at least this is how I understant it to work=)
