If I remember right, the supplied torque wrench is 11" long, which is
close enough to 1 foot. Applied Mechanics teaches one that the total
length, from the nut to the end of the wrench is the length of the
torque arm, regardless of the bend in the wrench. If you weigh 200
pounds, and REST your weight on this wrench, and your lugs aren't rusted
or oiled, you're looking at about 200 foot pounds. Lightly bouncing can
increase the value 1.5 to 2 times. Jumping can increase it 3-4 times.
