The big brakes that can be squeezed in. Also, the quality of road feel and 
thus communication of what the car is doing can be transferred to up to you 
at a much more rapid pace.

There are more variables than I care to get into... just watch what the 
manufacturers do with higher end/performance models and you can get a good 
idea of which direction to go. Look at your RS2 - a glorified 80? Slap some 
185/60/14 tires and wheel with 10" brakes from a base model... see how fast 
it can turn and stop.

Light weight is key... I miss my 16" BBS RC... they were 16 or 17 lbs a 
wheel.. My current 17" OZ modulars sure do look nice... but OZ did not make 
them slender. Maybe some IFG Wheels are next? 17 x 8 weigh in at 15.8 lbs a 
wheel!
