apology

Some time after midnight I sent a binary to the list server and used up far
more of your BW and ISP resources than was acceptable. Seconds after
hitting the send button, I remembered the admonition against such messages,
but it was gone and I had done it. I had no remedy to call it back, but
hoped the list server would filter it out. No such luck.

All that remains as a remedy is a public apology and considerable remorse,
and I am expressing both. It won't ever happen again, and I will be a
better list citizen.

Again, my most humble apology.
