Re: 700+ for a CD change for BOSE?
Try used. I have been looking for one used for a long time, but gave up. I
think I am just going to break down and buy a CD player (single disc head
unit) for my car.
They are extremely expensive from the dealer, but on the '89-'91 model cars
it was just an RF modulated CD changer. If you don't care whether or not it
is OEM Audi, you can walk into Best Buy and get a new Kenwood or Pioneer CD
changer for about $200 with a controller.
For the later model cars.... like the '92 and on 100's and S4's, and the A6
Quattro.... you can get the OEM changers for about $150 through a place
called Eurospec. They advertise in QQuarterly. Don't have number now, but
if you write back I'll try to dig it up.
Later,
Dan
