speakers on a 93 audi 100s

trying to connect different speakers in the back of my car i was messing 
around with the wires when they sparked and the radio died...it says in the 
manual that it should say "safe" on it if something goes wrong but it doesn't 
say anything and when i try and turn it on it just doesn't light up or 
anything...does anyone know what i can do???? thank you so much...o yea and 
does anyone know the dimenstions of the speakers in the 1993 100 s and the 
depth and dimensions of the face??? thanks a million
