re: front strut assembly remove/replace

I'll be swapping front strut assemblies soon (next weekend?) and wanted some 
BTDT help.  It's a '91 200q20v; I'll be disassembling the struts and swapping 
bearings, etc., so I want to pull them off the car entirely.
How do I release/remove the tie-rod end?  Do I need a puller, or is there a 
simple procedure, such as remove the nut, and whack each side of the tie-rod 
housing on the strut with a hammer?

How about the anti-sway bar?  Any tricks to removal/replacement?  I'll 
probably be replacing the rubber bushings on those as well.
