My '91 200 came with no radio head unit. A blessing in disguise I guess.
I Put in a mediocre Sony and to make it work, I had to go into each
speaker and disconnected the amplifier. Now at least they can't self
ignite. I really need to go back in and put a load on the bass drivers
though as they way overpower the tweeters now.
I also carry a fire extinguisher. There's just something about carrying
around many gallons of extremely flammable liquid (some of it
pressurized to boot) that makes me nervous I guess.
