Interior roof?

Marty spoke;

...the headliner is falling down above the back seat. There is a dip up in
the roof behind where the sunroof slides back. This is the only spot where
it's fallen and I need to stop it now before it gets any worse. Trying NOT
to create a cheap look inside my car (i.e. NO nails or tacks!!). Any ideas?

Marty,
I guess there's no "easy" fix. I'd strongly suggest shooting a few sturdy
staples/clamps to keep it from falling even more. Place these staples in
"dip" behind the sunroof housing. You will hardly even see them once
properly "aimed". This is the easy solution. I separated the liner from the
harder shell just above the rear window, cleaned as good as I could (the
foam that the sun's UV rays have broken down is messy beyond belief) and
sprayed glue. It does not last...

When you have a lot of time, remove entire roof liner/hard shell from car,
clean thoroughly and reglue with high temp spray glue, maybe even using new
cloth from an upholstery shop. In Seattle, they will attach new cloth to the
hard shell for just over $100.

I'd take out the entire shell over a sunny weekend. You have plenty in
Florida, but maybe not just now. In Bal Harbor and we've seen "some" rain
over the last days... If you are interested, I have a couple of older
postings to send you from people that have done this in the past.
