'99 A6Q question

Got a phone call from my parents today. Looks like they have taken my
advice, and are opting for a new A6Q over a WMB 528i. They specifically
wanted to know if any dealers are offering any $$$ off sticker price on
A6Q's. The dealer they stopped at was not dealing at all off sticker, and of
course said no other dealers are either. I seem to remember a couple of
other Listers (Debra Snell?) that were able to get their A6's for somewhat
less than sticker. Am I in the wrong here? Do the on-line buying sites
(Autobytel, etc) offer any assistance? TIA.
