won't shift . . . (if this is duplicated, my aplogies)

Howdy Audi Fans,

    Today on the way home my care suddenly refused to change gears.  After a
few minutes I was able to get it into gear and drive normally about 5
minutes later it happened again.  It feels like the clutch is not going in
as I cannot move the lever.  The clutch pedal has felt weird lately, and
yesterday I noticed some clear liquid that looked like it may have been
leaking from that area.  The car is an 84 coupe GT (2.1L).  What's wrong,
and what can I do?
