RE: Pirelli SV 6000 stuff

Hey everyone,
I've Never tried the SV's. But after much comparison and some
talks with Tire Rack I decided on the Yokohoma Avid H4. Basically they
said that in their testing the Touring Rated 6000sv was better in the snow
and got better milage. Both were GREAT in the rain and the YOKO was
better in the dry. Well, just put a set on my Moms Subaru Legacy. Even
with Skinny 185/70-14's it handles WAY better than before. Much better
steering feel, turn in, and seem to break away progressively. Not loud at
all but you can hear them, about the same as the Bridgestone OEM Junk that
was on there. NOte even RE-92's but somethign really cheap. Havent tried
them in REAL raind and standing water but on a wet road after a quick
shower they seemed great.
Thats about it for my impression. I'm quickly becomeing a Yoko
Fan. First the A520, now these little wonder tires. I assume their
V-Rated tire can only be better. Oooo, I cant wait to hear some BTDT
about their new Ultra High Performance Tire. NOt the NEXUS (NEver heard
much about that tire either) but the New AVS Sport or whatever it is.
Looks like a GREAT Contender to go up agianst the SO-2 Pole Positions.
