2000 S4

Gang -

Had sent a note to Audi corporate about what was
up with the S4, and here's their reply:

Thank you for contacting Audi of America.

We certainly appreciate your interest in the Audi
S4.

The S4 will arrive as a 2000 model with a 6-speed
manual transmission during the fall of 1999. The
2.7 liter V6 bi-turbo engine will produce 250
horsepower.  This model will also include
quattro.  An automatic transmission will be
available later in the model year.

Additional specifications and pricing information
are not currently available. We expect to have
this information prior to the introduction of
the 2000 models this fall.
