behind me, I hear him jump on it. So of course, I do to. I have a K24
turbo, 2 piece EM, chip, my 88 is no slouch. I get 1.8 bar at 2,800
rpm.
There is nothing wrong with my car. Purrs like a kitten, roars like a
lion.

Gary,
sorry about the incident.
I did not voice my opinion then coz you have already bought the parts
and seemed pretty determined to do the conversion on your MC-1 '89
200TQ. However I am pretty confident that the K24 is your biggest
problem.
The MC-1 has a lower compression 7.8:1 (terrible off boost), but has a
bigger K26 turbo, (capable of producing more boost).
The MC-2 has a higher compression 8.4:1, but has a smaller turbo.
You have combined the MC-1 with the K24, i.e. the worst of both worlds
for this particular application. You have a low compression engine which
is a dog off boost and the undersized turbo for this engine.
Audi had put a lot of effort in matching a specific engine to a specific
turbo. I personally elected not to mess with it on my own MC-1 '89
200TQ.
