If I really wanted to beat an M3 off the line, the tool of choice would probably be American Iron.
A Z28/ Mstang, even one of those vicious Grand Nationals, with a few tweaks will easily get
low 5's 0-60,  for a lot less money.
That isn't my priority, and it isn't why we own quattros.  When I get into these
stoplight temptations with another car, I try hard to pretend not to notice.  But if it is on a wet
or snowy highway with lots of turns, beware!
