Dan, as a fellow owner of an '89 200TQ, over the
last 10yrs I've learned that you're not gonna
take anything that has any torque from a standing
start. Until you get the turbo up to boost
pressure, it's a complete stone! Unless you want
your clutch smoking, you can't launch the thing
hard off the line either. That doesn't mean I
don't try, though  ;-)

Now as for the 2000 S4, the US versions will come
with 250HP, less than the Euro version I believe.
Hate to say it, but I still don't think you'll
take an M3 from a standing start with a stock S4,
even with the biturbo... now that doesn't mean it
has to remain stock however  8^)
