the leading bmw has crashed out with jj letho driving @11:55am on lap 305.
drama as the 2nd bmw is chased by the leading toyota 1 lap behind.

the #8 r8r is up to 3rd, 5 laps behind the lead, but has had an unscheduled
stop.  the #7 r8r is holding a strong 5th, with 4th likely as it gains on
the bmw in front of it which appears to be in trouble in the pits.
