darn clock..89 200

My clock on my dash for my 89 200 is acting up.  Its not a big deal, but I'm 
anal...
On the minute digit, to the far right, the bottem line is gone.  missing the 
_ so my 8 now looks like a A.  Is there anyway I can fix this with/o 
replacing my entire dash?  Dealer says replace the whole thing(since the 
display shows lines instead of the radio)  forgot how much they wanted for 
it, but I am sure it isn't cheap.  Anyone have any suggestion, please reply.
