Brown anti-freeze

Not brown

When "green" or "yellow" anti-freeze is mixed with a car that has the newer
"pink" anit-freeze it does turn brown. And it looks like sludeg.

We've seen customer cars that were topped up with someting other than pink
anti-freeze. If you car has the pink stuff get a gallon at the dealer and
keep it at home.

If you have mixed you must flush with water at least 3 times to get it
clean enough for the pink to go back in.

The main reason for the OE pink stuff is longer service life.

So flush that thing. IF you do suspect a headgasket problem also check th
oil for a milk shake look. But my bet is on a mix of pink and yellow
