RE: Bleeding fuel line after new filters on 86 4kq

Just BT, Just DT. I opted for the "crank" method after fixing both
fuel lines (Rusty and leaking over the exhaust sound familiar?) and
rebuilding the fuel tray. I then discovered the real cause of my cold start
issues was the fuel meter's sticky air platen (think that's the right
terminology =) When I disconnected the front lines, there was hardly any
pressure, and I had just driven it to the garage to replace the air filter.
Looks like I'm in for an accumulator.

Subject: Bleeding fuel line after new filters on 86 4kq

All,

Confirmed that the fuel pump is indeed working and seems to be pumping
out quite a bit of fuel. I have removed the two fuel filters the
residual fuel was quite dirty. I am hoping that replacing them will
solve my problem for the moment. What is the best procedure for
bleeding the system some say just crank and no need to bleed others have
a complete procedure. Any opinions on how to out there?

Thanks all,

JJS
