it seems like i might have to expand on this some more....
traffic lights occur where? thats right, in residential areas (by default).
now, where do multiple streams of traffic converge? where do people try and
cross the road?
thats right, traffic lights.
this macho traffic lights grandprix bullsh*t is just as bad if not worse
going around corners too fast in a residential area. by definition you are
exceeding the speed limit in a residential area and can just as easily run
over that kid. it's just an 'merican thing though, right?
